Mangaluru: A book launch function of two major Konkani Literary publications from Kittall Prakashan is scheduled to be held in Orchid Gallery, Mangaluru October 2, at 5 pm.
‘Encounter’ a collection of 100 poems of Kittall Youth Award 2016 winner Wilson Kateel and ‘Beeg ani Bigath’ (Lock and Key) a collection of 12 short stories by promising writer and editor of Konkani literary website ‘Kittall’ H M Pernal will be released on this day.
Konkani Sardar and President of Vishwa Konkani Kendra Basti Vaman Shenoy and Central Sahithya Academy Award winner, poet and President of Kavita Trust Melvyn Rodrigues will release the books on this occasion. William Pais, Author of ‘The Land Called South Kanara’ and Director of Orchid Art Gallery will introduce the books to the gathering.
