Chennai: Actor-politician Rajinikanth has announced that he nor his party ‘Rajini Makkal Mandram’, will contest in the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha election, here on Sunday, February 17.
The Super star has released a statement appealing his fans and followers, not to use the party symbol as a propaganda tool for the elections.
He has made it clear that he or his party will not be supporting any other political parties in campaigning and has also requested his fan clubs not to do so.
Rajinikanth has sent out a message across Tamilnadu to support the party which comes up with a policy that will help resolve the water crisis, faced by the state.
