DHARWAD: In a heartbreaking incident, Jeevita Kusugur, a 26-year-old woman preparing for the UPSC and Karnataka Administrative Services (KAS) exams, died of a suspected heart attack in Purohitanagar, Dharwad, on Tuesday.
Jeevita, daughter of Prabhakara Kusugur, had recently completed her M.Sc. in Agriculture and was dedicatedly pursuing her dream of entering civil services. According to sources, she was found unconscious at home on the morning of July 8.
Her family rushed her to a nearby private hospital, but she tragically passed away without responding to treatment. Doctors suspect a cardiac arrest, though official confirmation is awaited.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the local student community and raised concerns about the growing stress faced by competitive exam aspirants.
