The ITO Metro Station will stay closed until further notice, according to a statement released today by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). The DMRC had announced earlier today that the metro station would be closed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In response to the AAP’s protests against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest, the DMRC also declared that the Lok Kalyan Marg Metro Station would close.
On Lok Kalyan Marg is the official residence of the Prime Minister.
As instructed by the police, the transporter closed the stations.
“On advice of Delhi Police, Lok Kalyan Marg Metro station will also remain closed in addition to ITO Metro station till further notice,” the DMRC posted on X.
