Among the quotes mentioned in the diary are:
- “My sole weapon is love in my pursuit of authority.”
- “My fervor for nonviolence is a potent force. It admits no cowardice or weakness. While a violent man may transition to nonviolence, a coward has no such potential.”
- “The world possesses enough to satisfy every man’s need but not every man’s greed.”
- “If blood must be shed, let it be our own. Let us nurture the serene courage to perish without causing harm.”
The Prime Minister paid tribute to Gandhi with a heartfelt message on social media.
“On the solemn occasion of Pujya Bapu’s Punya Tithi, I extend my homage. I also pay tribute to all those who sacrificed their lives for our nation. Their valor motivates us to dedicate ourselves to serving the people and realizing their vision for our country,” PM Modi expressed on Twitter.
