Delhi: A Toyota Fortuner SUV belonging to BJP National President JP Nadda’s wife, Mallika Nadda, reportedly stolen from a car service center in the Govindpuri area of Delhi on March 19, has been recovered in Varanasi.
The police have arrested two suspects in connection with the alleged theft case, identified as Shahid and Shivang Tripathi, both residents of Badhkal near Faridabad.
Mallika Nadda’s white Fortuner was stolen while it was at the service center. The SUV’s driver, Joginder Singh, registered a case with the Delhi police, and they launched a search operation and traced the car.
According to the police, the accused arrived at the service center in a Hyundai Creta and changed the number plate of the car to evade detection before heading to Badhkal. They drove the vehicle to Varnasi, and they were in a bid to send the vehicle to Nagaland when they were nabbed.
