Delhi, the land of Chole Bhature and Chole Kulche, is developing a serious Vada Pav obsession! This growing popularity suggests Delhiites are adventurous eaters with a taste for new things.
The competition among Vada Pav sellers in the capital seems to be increasing. Recently, Chandrika Gera Dixit became popular as “Delhi’s Vada Pav Girl”. Now, another contender has emerged! A street vendor in Uttam Nagar claims that her Vada Pav is simply delicious and no one makes tasty Vada Pav like her.
She says there are secret ingredients in her Vada Pav, she keeps things very simple. She makes it like how traditional Maharashtrian makes it. She said she learned the humble Maharashtrian dish and always uses high-quality ingredients. “It’s all about skill and a steady hand,” she says.
Emphasizing that she uses Fortune brand oil and Rajdhani brand gram flour for her perfect vadas.
Running her stall for a year now, she has regular clientele. People eat 1-2 plates on the spot and take 12-13 packets.
In the viral video, the lady said that she prepares Ulta Vada Pav, which she claims is a Nashik favorite and also offers Cheese Ulta Vada Pav.
