According to sources, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has uncovered evidence suggesting that Arvind Kejriwal was involved in spying on officials of the probe agency. The ED claims to have recovered a 150-page document, including names of its officials, during raids conducted at Kejriwal’s residence. Action is expected to be taken based on this revelation.

Legal Proceedings and Supreme Court Intervention

In response to the developments, the ED has filed a caveat in the Supreme Court, urging to be heard before any decision is made regarding Arvind Kejriwal’s petition. This comes after the Supreme Court agreed to urgently hear Kejriwal’s plea against his arrest by the ED in the Delhi liquor policy case. A special bench has been constituted to hear Kejriwal’s plea.

Allegations and Evidence Presentation

The probe agency is set to present evidence against the Delhi Chief Minister today, marking the first instance of such action. Additionally, statements of AAP candidates from Goa, who claimed to have been paid cash to contest elections, have been recorded. The ED alleges that this money is linked to the liquor policy scam involving AAP and the South cartel.

Arrest and Investigation

Arvind Kejriwal was arrested on Thursday amidst dramatic circumstances, following the arrival of an ED team at his residence to conduct interrogations and searches related to the liquor policy case. Subsequently, he was taken to the ED headquarters, where a medical team was also deployed.

These developments mark a significant turn in the ongoing investigation, raising further questions about the alleged involvement of key political figures in illicit activities.
