Gujarat: Usually, during the polling day, be it Lok Sabha or Assembly elections, a decent number of electorates queue up near the polling booths. But there is one constituency which stands out, a polling both in Gir forest.

As the state witnessed the Lok Sabha polling, here on Tuesday, April 23, Gir Forest, which comes under Junagadh Lok Sabha constituency, had only one voter named Bharatdas Bapu.

As reported by one of the Indian news agencies, Bapu said that the government was spending a lot of money for Gir Forest polling booth just for one vote and that is the reason he votes every election without fail.

He said, “I have voted and it is 100 percent voting in this polling booth.”

Meanwhile, Bapu has requested every electorate of the country to exercise their rights and make sure the polling booths observe 100 percent voting.

It is a triangular battle between Shri Rajeshbhai Chudasma from the Bharatiya Janata Party, Deven Govindbhai Vanvi from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Punjabhai Vansh from the Indian National Congress (INC).
