PM Modi & UAE President’s Ahmedabad Roadshow Garners International Attention

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan embarked on a grand roadshow in Ahmedabad this evening. Before the roadshow, Prime Minister Modi warmly welcomed the United Arab Emirates President upon his arrival at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.

The two leaders commenced their roadshow, covering a three-kilometer route starting from the airport, concluding at the iconic Indira Bridge, linking Ahmedabad with Gandhinagar. From the bridge circle, both leaders will proceed to their respective destinations in Gandhinagar, as outlined by officials overseeing the event.

Stringent security measures have been implemented, and stages have been erected along the route for cultural performances that will accompany the leaders during their joint journey.

Prime Minister Modi is slated to inaugurate the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) at the Mahatma Mandir Convention Centre in Gandhinagar on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi engaged in bilateral meetings with President of Timor-Leste Jose Ramos-Horta and Mozambique President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi. Subsequently, he held discussions with CEOs of prominent global corporations at the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. At around 3 pm, he ceremoniously inaugurated the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show.

The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit serves as a global platform for fostering business collaborations, sharing knowledge, and establishing strategic partnerships to promote inclusive growth and sustainable development, as stated by a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office.
