New Delhi: Amidst the current global economic turmoil, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for a meeting of the industry leaders today to discuss the present scenario.
The industry leaders expected at the meeting include Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Cyrus Mistry, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Anand Mahindra, Shashi Ruia, Gautam Adani and bankers Raghuram Rajan, Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chanda Kochhar.
The meeting is going to be held at Prime Minister Modi’s Race Course Road residence at around 10.30 am.
This is Modi’s second meeting with the industry leaders in two months.
The gloom in markets has resulted due to a slowing Chinese economy.
