News Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted Congress President Sonia Gandhi on her 69th birthday on December 9.
In his tweet, Modi wished Gandhi long and healthy life.
“On her birthday, greetings to Congress President Sonia Gandhi. May Almighty bless her with long life & good health,” PM Modi tweeted.
Modi’s greetings came even as the Congress party and the government locked horns over the National Herald case.
The Congress stalled Parliament and took to streets over the issue on Tuesday.
Sonia Gandhi will turn 69 today.
Last year, Sonia Gandhi did not celebrate her birthday in view of terror and Naxal attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and Chhattisgarh.
