Computer Education Centre Inaugurated in Sailashree Vihar, Odisha

The Centre for Sustainable Use of Natural and Social Resources (CSNR), in collaboration with Mahaveer Biju Adarsa Colony, launched a computer education centre in Sailashree Vihar, Odisha, on Friday. The initiative aims to provide free digital education to youths in the area.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mandakinee Kar, Chairperson of the Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (OSCPCR), who hailed the centre as a valuable resource for those aspiring to enhance their digital literacy. Emphasizing the importance of computer education, Kar commended CSNR for their efforts in establishing the centre.

The event commenced with a welcoming address by CSNR Program Manager, Pragnya Paramita Jena, who introduced the esteemed guests. Dhirendra Panda, Secretary of CSNR, outlined the objectives of the computer training centre and highlighted its significance for unemployed youths residing in nearby slums.

Jasodhara Pradhan, Corporator of Ward No. 7, expressed optimism about the centre’s success, emphasizing the crucial role parents play in encouraging their children to utilize the facility.

The inauguration marks a significant step towards empowering youths with digital skills, contributing to their overall development and opportunities for future employment.
