Prime Minister Modi Inaugurates Development Projects in Telangana

PM Narendra Modi highlighted the Central government’s continuous efforts in facilitating Telangana’s development, addressing an event in Sangareddy. Recognizing Telangana as the “Gateway for South India,” he emphasized ongoing initiatives such as railway electrification and the establishment of six new stations, predicting positive economic impacts on the state and surrounding regions.

The Prime Minister, reflecting on his recent visit to Adilabad, mentioned inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for projects worth Rs 56,000 crores in energy, climate, and infrastructure sectors. In Sangareddy, projects worth over Rs 7,000 crores in areas like highways, railways, airways, and petroleum were unveiled.

Expressing faith in the “Rashtra vikas through vikas of the states” mantra, Modi underlined the government’s commitment to elevate Telangana. He lauded the citizens for their role in the day’s development projects.

Highlighting the significance of modern infrastructure in building a developed India, the Prime Minister mentioned the allocation of Rs 11 lakh crore in this year’s budget. He emphasized the aim to maximize Telangana’s benefits, citing specific projects like the Kandi to Ramsanpalle section of NH-161 and Miryalaguda to Kodad Section of NH-167.

Modi also announced the establishment of the Civil Aviation Research Organisation (CARO) at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad, emphasizing its role in providing new opportunities for the youth in the aviation sector and supporting research and skill development for aviation startups.

Among the inaugurated projects, the doubling and electrification of the Sanathnagar – Moula Ali route and the MMTS Train Service from Ghatkesar – Lingampalli via Moula Ali – Sanathnagar were highlighted. The Prime Minister also inaugurated the Indian Oil Paradip-Hyderabad Product Pipeline, aiming for cheaper and environmentally sustainable transportation of petroleum products.

Modi, currently on a multi-state tour, reiterated the government’s commitment to the comprehensive development of Telangana and other states during his three-day visit from March 4 to 6.
