Hyderabad: Mohammed Rasool Kaddare, a laborer from Rangampet in Shorapur taluk, has been apprehended by the police on Tuesday for making threats to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Superintendent of Police G Sangeeta confirmed the arrest and stated that further details cannot be disclosed at this time to protect the ongoing investigation.
The Shorapur police have registered a case against Kaddare under sections 505 (1) (B), 25 (1) (B) of the IPC, and the Arms Act.
In a video clip posted on his Facebook wall, Kaddare allegedly threatened PM Modi, expressing discontent with the governance and making derogatory remarks.
He remarked, “Modi, you are not delivering good governance like Atal Bihari Vajpayee. You were selling tea. If you come without BJP, I am ready to face you.
If Congress comes to power, your nerves will cut. Congress zindabad.” The video also contains objectionable words against Modi and Yogi.
