In a shocking incident, shots were reportedly fired outside the residence of Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty in Mumbai’s Juhu area during the early hours of Sunday. No injuries were reported in the incident, police said.
Firing reported near filmmaker’s home
According to national media reports, unidentified persons allegedly fired four to five rounds near the building where the director resides. There was no immediate official confirmation on whether Shetty or his family members were present at the residence at the time of the incident.
Residents in the area reported hearing loud noises, following which the police were alerted.
