Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao directed Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to inform all concerned departments to take safety precautions as heavy rains continue to hit the State.
Telangana and Maharashtra have been on high alert since last Saturday. Rao added that he would review the situation and hold a video conference with officials on Sunday.
In addition, he warned people against taking a risk or going outside in heavy rainfalls unless it’s an emergency.
