In a devastating accident in Kallakurichi, a two-and-a-half-year-old child lost his life after falling from a two-wheeler and being run over by a private polytechnic college bus. The tragic event occurred in full view of the child’s father, Udhayakumar, who was riding the two-wheeler with his toddler.
According to a report by Thanthi TV, the accident happened when Udhayakumar attempted to overtake the college bus. During the maneuver, the child slipped from the vehicle and tragically came under the wheels of the bus, dying on the spot.
Police have registered a case and begun questioning the driver of the college bus as part of the ongoing investigation.
