Aligarh: In every election, a variety of party symbols emerge, ranging from the ordinary to the extraordinary. The upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024 are no exception.

Pandit Keshav Dev, an independent candidate from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, who got unique symbol- a pair of slippers by the Election Commission of India has decided to leverage this to maximum extent. In order to create a lasting impact on the minds of the voters, he creatively merged this symbol into his campaign strategy.

During his campaign, Dev has been spotted wearing a garland made of seven slippers around his neck. This innovative way of seeking votes, which he believe enhances his visibility and ensure that voters remember him when they cast their ballots.

The Lok Sabha polls are scheduled to be conducted in seven phases, commencing on April 19. Uttar Pradesh, will send 80 Members of Parliament to the Parliament, and the state will vote in all seven phases of voting.
