Bagalakote: Former Minister Umashri also made it clear that she will not be contesting from Teradal Constituency as a party or an independent this time, bowing to the party High Command’s order.

Speaking to reporters at Banahatti on Wednesday April 19 she said, “Siddu Konnur is our party’s candidate. As the leader of the party, it is my duty to support the Congress candidate from the constituency. Our party candidate will take other party leaders into confidence in the coming days, she said. Umashree said that changes are common in politics.

The High Command has given B Form to Siddu Konnur on behalf of the party. As per the orders from above, all the workers and leaders of the constituency will work hard for the victory of the candidate. In the next two days, we will all work together to win the party,” said Umashri.
