Belagavi: Air Chief Marshal Manvendra Singh, Commanding-in-Chief of the Indian Air Force( IAF), said that the candidates selected for the post of Agniviravayu in the Indian Air Force under the Agneepath scheme will be mentally and physically fit and transformed into disciplined citizens in future.
Speaking at the launch of the training of the first batch of fire warriors at the Sambra Airwomen Training Centre, which began on Sunday December 31 he said that in rigorous training for 22 weeks, fire warriors will become strong individuals. They then serve in the Air Force for four years, he informed.
They are transformed into soldiers with technical expertise and war preparedness, he said and added that the training should be successfully done and the future life should be beautiful.
