Dharawad: All the students stranded in a Government High School in Amaragol Village in the District due to flood caused by a nearby rivulet were rescued on Friday June 17.
As many as 150 students were stuck in the school on the evening of Thursday June 16. The rescue waited until night when the water subsided to undertake rescue operation.
Children were moved to safe location in a tractor. The school was inundated as heavy downpour made the nearby rivulet suddenly flood.
