Haveri: MLA Nehru Olekar has alleged that Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has looted Rs. 1,500 Crore from the Shiggavi Sprinkler Irrigation Project.
Upset over being denied a BJP ticket, MLA Nehru Olekar spoke to the media and attacked CM Bommai.
“The farmers have not been given a single pipe. The sprinkler irrigation project is limited to the people of Shiggavi Constituency only, said Olekar and expressed his displeasure that the farmers of other districts have not been benefited from the scheme.
“I have been denied a ticket without tolerating my growth. Let Bommai show how much power he has. We will also show our strength,” Olekar challenged.
