Bengaluru: BJP to emerge victorious in 2023 elections, says CM

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Tuesday October 11 said he is confident that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will once again emerge victorious in the 2023 elections.

He was speaking to the mediapersons near his residence here. He said the BJP has been continuously holding programmes and under the leadership of Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa, the Jana Sankalp Yatra is being organised.

Thousands of people from each constituency have benefitted due to the programmes, and policies of the State as well as Central Government programmes. It will be explained to the people and the decisions will be made to which sections of the society the upcoming programmes will be formulated and how one can benefit from them, he noted.

Enthusiasm everywhere

BJP office-bearers and workers are gearing up for the elections with a resolve to come back to power in the 2023 elections. There is a lot of enthusiasm everywhere, he said and added that the confidence of the people will be earned through the Jan Sankalp Yatra.

Speaking on SC/ST reservation, Bommai said that the Government will take an appropriate decision after examining the recommendations made by experts of the Backward Classes Commission in this regard as various communities have been pressing for their inclusion in the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes category. Further, he added, “Everyone has aspirations. The Government is working towards providing legal protection to the SC/ST communities by increasing the reservation, he said and added that the experts from the Backward Classes Commission will be duly consulted.
