Bengaluru: In a bid to forge unity and as a welcoming act, Congress Leaders have invited Gubbi MLA S. R. Shrinivas to Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Bengaluru Rural MP D. K. Suresh has invited him to the yatra which is set to through his Constituency.
Shrinivas is likely to join Congress before the 2023 State Assembly election.
JD (S) Leaders led by Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy are upset with Shrinivas for a long time over his close links with Congress. JD (S) has already announced that Shrinivas will not be given ticket in the next Assembly election.
