A special operation by Bengaluru North Division police has led to the arrest of six people and the seizure of a large cache of narcotics, including MDMA, charas, and ganja.

Acting on intelligence about drug sales in JC Nagar, Hebbal, RT Nagar, and Jalahalli, police executed coordinated raids over several days.

On August 6, near an apartment in Sultanpalya, RT Nagar, one suspect was caught with 3.33 kg of ganja, 278 g of MDMA, a two-wheeler, three mobile phones, and ₹69,100 in cash.
On August 7, near a vacant plot along the Hebbal railway track, another suspect was arrested with 1.287 kg of ganja and a two-wheeler.
On August 9, close to Indira Canteen in MRS Palya, JC Nagar, one individual was held with 600 g of ganja and ₹1,200.
On August 10, in HMT Quarters, Jalahalli, three suspects were caught carrying 991 g of ganja and 75 g of charas.

Interrogation revealed that all six had been buying ganja, charas, and MDMA at low rates from two unidentified suppliers and selling them for profit.

In total, police seized 6.208 kg of ganja, 278 g of MDMA, 75 g of charas, two two-wheelers, three mobile phones, ₹69,100 in cash, three weighing machines, and other paraphernalia.

All accused were produced in court and remanded to judicial custody. The two suppliers remain at large, with efforts underway to track them.
