Bengaluru: A tragic road accident occurred on Friday morning along Huskur Main Road in Alur, near Nelamangala, claiming the life of a 26-year-old techie, Priyanka Kumari Pooniya. The victim, a resident of Alur BDA Phase 2, was riding pillion on a two-wheeler with her brother, Naresh Kumar (34), when a truck collided with their vehicle around 10:50 am.
According to the Alur Police, the truck, heading towards the APMC Market in Dasanapura, swerved suddenly to avoid a tree branch and inadvertently brushed against the handle of the bike coming from the opposite direction.
