Chikkaballapura: JD (S) observer Belli Lokesh has demanded that Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, who is supposed to allocate funds equally for the development of various Assembly constituencies in the State, should issue a white paper on the alleged discriminatory policy of allocation of funds for the development of opposition constituencies.
Speaking to mediapersons at the Press Club in the City, he said people are fed up with the attitude and policies of the national parties. He was in favour of supporting the JD (S) party under the leadership of Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumarswamy in the upcoming Assembly elections. He appealed to the people to form a regional party by giving a clear majority for pro-people governance in the State.
Eventhough Karnataka paid the highest taxes in the country and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is discriminating in the allocation of funds, similarly, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has also been giving more funds to the constituencies of BJP MLAs following a step-motherly attitude towards the development of opposition constituencies in allocation of funds. He demanded that the Chief Minister should issue a white paper on the issue.
