Chikkaballapura: In a tragic incident, among two youth travelling on a two-wheeler, one was killed and another escaped unhurt after being washed away by the water while they were crossing a bridge due to heavy rains across the Taluk.
The deceased has been identified as Basavaraju (23), a resident of Kanavegere Village in Sira taluk. Prashanth (22) of Anudi has escaped unhurt.
Due to the widespread rains in the taluk, the assets and properties have been damaged in many places.
