CM officially welcomes Basavaraj Horatti to BJP

Bengaluru: Former JD (S) leader Basavaraj Horatti formally joined the BJP on Wednesday at Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s residence.

Horatti resigned from his positions as Chairman of the Karnataka Vidhana Parishad and as a member of the Legislative Council on May 16.

Horatti was welcomed into the BJP by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, who presented him with a party flag.

Former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, BJP National General Secretary C. T. Ravi, and ministers Govind Karajol, R. Ashoka, and C. C. Patil were present.
