Bengaluru: Nagalakshmi Bai, chairperson, Karnataka State Commission for Women is scheduled to visit Vikram Hospital where State Planning Board Deputy Chairman CM Ibrahim’s daughter Ifa has been undergoing treatment. It is alleged that Ibrahim’s family forced Ifa to abort her baby at Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru.
Speaking over the phone from Dharwad, Nagalakshmi Bai said that she would reach Bengaluru by Wednesday morning and expected to meet Ifa by noon. “I will take a decision on taking suo moto notice of the matter. As of now, I am not in a position to speak on this subject,” Nagalakshmi Bai said.
Ibrahim’s brother CM Khader, speaking to a TV channel, alleged that Ibrahim’s family forced his daughter-in-law Ifa – daughter of CM Ibrahim – to abort her daughter at a private hospital. If was married to Khader’s son Faisal and she was four-month old pregnant.
