Bengaluru: Former minister Tippeswamy passed away on August 8 at Columbia Asia Hospital in Bangalore. Tippeswamy was hospitalized last week and was in critical condition.
He played a key role in the establishment of Rajnahalli Valmiki Gurupet and received the Valmiki Prize in 2017. Tippeswamy started his political career with the JD(S) and later joined the BJP. He served as Excise Minister in the Deve Gowda cabinet.
