Bengaluru: In connection with Chief Minister’s Hublot watch controversy, the Lokayukta Special Court has reserved the order till December 3, whether the case is fit for investigation or not.
Social activist Abraham T J, who has filed the complaint, argued that no action was taken despite complaints were registered with the Anti Corruption Bureau(ACB). Hence he requested the court to issue an order to probe the case, as the case is fit for investigation.
A private complaint was filed at Lokayukta Special Court on October 7 by Abraham in connection with three cases, including the one in which Siddaramaiah and PWD minister H C Mahadevappa were gifted expensive watches. The complaint was also filed against Executive Engineer, PWD, deputed to BDA and In-Charge of Kempegowda Layout L. Raghu, KSPCB Chairman Lakshman, Dr Girish Chandra Verma, a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon at NMC Specialty Hospital in Dubai, and Karan, a smuggled goods trader at National Market in Majestic.
