Bengaluru: The quality of roads will be maintained, and stringent action will be taken against engineers and contractors, who fail to execute quality, and the keep the timeline stipulated to complete the projects, said Bengaluru Development Minister K.J. George on Tuesday.
Minister who is monitoring road works in the city on a daily basis assured the residents of the city that action would be initiated against erring officers.
“I have instructed the senior officers to take action against such erring officers. Elected representatives can identify the required works and propose them to the authorities,” the Minister said.
“I will assure the people of the State that I am committed to work and will discharge my duties and responsibilities in an efficient and effective manner, with dedication,” the Minister added.
