Bengaluru: Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara announced in the Legislative Assembly that the re-examination for the recruitment of police sub-inspectors (PSI) in Karnataka will be postponed to January 23rd. The re-examination was originally scheduled for December 23rd, but aspirants requested a delay, citing insufficient time for preparations. The exam was previously marred by a question paper leak, leading to arrests, including senior police officers. The government decided to conduct a fresh examination, aiming to fill 545 PSI posts.
