Bengaluru: A tweet by the Kerala Tourism Department, shortly after the hung assembly verdict in Karnataka has been lauded by the netizens for its perfect timing as well as its creativity, with which it hinted at the resort politics that may now come into play.

Resort politics as we all know, means the practice of moving MLAs to resorts to safeguard them from defecting to other parties.

The tweet” #ComeOutAndPlay”, invited all the MLAs to unwind at the safe resorts in Kerala shorty after it was obvious that no single party had reached majority mark in the elections.

“After the rough and tumble of the #KarnatakaVerdict, we invite all the MLAs to unwind at the safe and beautiful resorts of God’s Own Country. #ComeOutAndPlay (sic)”, Kerala Tourism tweeted.

The tweet has gathered 4200 retweets and 6500 likes within an hour after it went public.

Twiterrati praised the novel idea of the Kerala tourism with few even suggesting a pay hike for the guy behind the idea.
