Kolar: “I have already announced that I will see that a Dalit becomes a Deputy Chief Minister in order to provide social justice. Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy announced that the JD (S) was ready to make a woman from any community the Deputy Chief Minister if the need arises for the empowerment of women.
Speaking to mediapersons after his stay at Kyaalanoor in the District, he said, “I have already said that I will give the post of Deputy CM to the Dalit community. I did not say this to attract the votes of the Dalit community. After listening to the problems of the community, I have asked them to provide social justice. After listening to women’s issues, I am committed to giving the post of Deputy CM for the empowerment of women. But in our party, there is no nominal Deputy Chief Minister. Those who work sincerely will be made Deputy CM,” he said.
“Though the Government has allocated money, the money is not reaching the people. So if I am given full power for five years, I will fully implement the Pancharatna scheme, he asserted.
H. D. Kumaraswamy declared that if the Pancharatna schemes are not implemented, he will not come to the people to seek votes in any future elections.
