Bengaluru: Over 400 organisations have joined to make Monday September 27 bandh call in the State a successful one.
All the farmer groups including those led by Badagalapura Nagendra, and Kodihalli Chandrashekar among others have joined hands. Various left organisations have also extended the support for the bandh. Opposition parties including Congress and JD (S) also extended their support.
The farmers have decided to hold protest marches at all the taluk levels. They are blocking all the national highways to ensure that there will not be any vehicle movement.
However, train and flight services are unlikely to be affected.
KSRTC has decided to operate all the buses. The BJP led State Government is planning to zero the bandh effect by asking all the service operators to provide services. Additional police forces are sent to all the districts to ensure that law and order situation is maintained.
