Bengaluru: For the first time in the State, the Nagarahole Tiger Reserve has made a decision to take college students as interns.
The selected students will soon join the Nagarahole Tiger Conservation Foundation (NTCF) programme, and get a first-hand experience on Forest Department’s functioning. NTCF in a circular has stated that Indian students from nation’s recognised securing at least 60 per cent marks in their last degree or certificate examination or those who are pursuing their degrees are eligible for the two-month duration internship.
Further, the circular added that the internship can extended up to five months depending on the candidates’ performance.
