Bengaluru: Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar states that the Bangalore metro has now reached standards that now seem to be better than that found in Delhi.  The Deputy CM also declared the government’s plans to wrap up reach 6 of phase 2 project by 2025, which means we will be seeing a new improved Namma Metro by next year.

The minister recently directed all BMRCL officials to speed up their construction process, as the deadlines are drawing near. That said, the project has completed 91 percent of its tunneling, which makes the project 75 percent complete. From this, there is little doubt that the new-improved trains will be up and ready for the public to use.

There will now be 18 stations, 12 of them underground, and the other six elevated. The twelve stations will stretch over a route of 13.76 km, going all the way from Dairy Circle to Nagavara.

Namma Metro, which was always known for its International standards of quality, convenience and passenger comfort now promises the public more. In other words, it looks like the new project is soon to emerge as a savior amidst the traffic issues that the public often face in Bangalore.
