Bengaluru: The police have arrested a 26-year old man was arrested for allegedly attacking a 15-year-old girl in Thalagattapura police station limits.
The police have identified the arrested person as Arun, a relative of the victim. The police said the accused had attacked the victim with a hammer after her family refused to get her married to him. The victim has been admitted to a hospital for treatment. It was said that Arun attacked her while returning home from school.
Thalagattapura police have registered a case based on the complaint lodged by victim’s mother Ganga.
