Ramanagara: The Pancharatna Rath Yatra has received unprecedented support. The Pancharatna Yatra has been a resounding success wherever it has gone. JD (S) Youth Unit State President Nikhil Kumaraswamy asserted that people are showing love and affection.
Addressing the preliminary meeting of the party at Kethaganahalli ahead of entry of Pancharathna Yatra into the district on Tuesday December 7, he said that On November 18, the yatra started from Mulabagil in Kolar District. This Rath Yatra was made successful by the people of Kolar district. Later Chikkaballapur and Tumkur Districts also it got success, said Nikhil.
Nikhil Kumarswamy said that people were waiting till 2 o’clock in the night at Gubbi. He said this Rath Yatra will enter the District on December 15, he added.
Preparations were discussed in the preliminary meeting and also Former CM H. D. Kumaraswamy’s birthday to be held on December 16. For this purpose, Srinivasa Kalyana programme has been organised and this religious programme has been organised for the welfare of the people of the State. He said holding Srinivasa Kalyana has been possible for us with the grace and power of God.
“Leaders and workers from Ramanagara, Channapattana, Magadi, and Kanakapura have participated in the preliminary meeting. I have given information about the outline of Srinivasa Kalyana programme,” he said.
He informed that Pancharatna Yatra will be held at Magadi on 15th, Ramanagara for two days on 16th and 17th, Kanakapura on 18th and Channapatnam for two days on 19th and 20th. Also, Ramanagara is the birthplace of former CM HD Kumaraswamy, he said.
Nikhil Kumaraswamy expressed confidence that the Pancharatna Yatra will be a success in the entire District and that there is no doubt that this Yatra will become a historic event.
