Ramanagara: Taluk Magistrate dances to tune of Koti Kanta Gayana

Ramanagara: Thousands of school and college students, taluk-level officials and organisation leaders performed to the tunes of artistes at the Koti Kanta Gayana programme. As part of Rajyotsava celebrations, a Koti Kanta Gayana programme was organised at the Taluk Stadium.

More than 3,000 students including all high school and junior college students participated in the event. State Anthem, Hacchevu Kannadada Deepa, Barisu Kannada Dindimava, Vishwavinoothana Vidyachethana, and Huttidare Kannadanaadalli Huttabeku among others were sung. Students, officials and heads of organisations who participated in the programme simultaneously lent their voices to the troupe of artistes and sang.

At the end when Dr. Rajkumar’s song started playing, the leaders of the association danced happily. Taluk Magistrate Vishwanath danced along with the leaders. The video of the act has gone viral on social media.
