Bengaluru: The Bengaluru police have arrested stunt master Subhash (52), a resident of Doddabele near Kengeri, in connection with the death of Samera Banu (28) and her daughter Ayera Banu (5) in a cylinder blast accident during the shooting of the film “Ranam” on Saturday.
According to police sources, Subhash was arrested from his residence.
Sources added that the stunt director for the movie, Vijayan is still at large. In his statement to the police, Subhash informed that he is an expert in car explosion and chase scenes.
As per the sources, all the accused, including the producer, are hiding in Tamil Nadu. “We are searching for them,” said police.
