Bengaluru: According to the sources, the final minutes of the Vishwesha Tirtha seer was very emotional, on Sunday with his devotees finding it difficult to digest the news.
The day’s developments started with the homecoming of the seer. The very revered Seer reached Pejawar Mutt in an ambulance from KMC Hospital. Former union minister Uma Bharati, who accompanied him in the ambulance was seen crying all the way.
Once the ambulance reached the Mutt, Vasanti, sister of the seer from Ramakunja in Kadaba taluk was allowed to have one final glimpse of her brother, who had become a sanyasi at a tender age of eight. After that, six seers of Udupi Krishna Mutt started reciting the Vishnu Sahasranama. Ramachandrapura mutt seer joined them.
Once the reciting of the Vishnu Sahasranama was completed the life support machines were removed. Palimaru seer garlanded a Tulasi garland. Immediately the death of the seer was announced by chanting Govinda Govinda.
