Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Shivamogga Airport on January 27.
The first flight will fly between Bengaluru and Shivamogga.
The airport has come up in Rs.449 Crore and is spread over 662.38 acres of land. The airport runway is 3.50 kilometres.
Shivamogga Airport is one of the major projects initiated by B. S. Yediyurappa when he was the Chief Minister.
