Bengaluru: The state government approved Ayurveda treatment for 10 patients who are under going treatment for Covid 19.
A decision in this regard was announced after Giridhar Kaje, an ayurveda doctor met Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa seeking permission for the use of the Ayurveda medicines to treat Covid 19.
According to the authorities, along with ongoing treatment, Ayurveda treatment will be given to those patients who join this initiative.
Earlier, Dr Kaje wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking permission for using the Ayurveda to treat Coronavirus.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi too, in his address to nation had urged the citizens to follow the recommendations of tha Ayush Ministry in combating Coronavirus.
