Bengaluru: In a big boost to the BS Yediyurappa led BJP state government, former prime minister and JDS supremo HD Deve Gowda made it clear that the state government is safe for next three years and four months. “This government will be safe till the end of the tenure of this assembly,” said Gowda.
His statement comes immediately after the Supreme Court allowed 15 disqualified MLAs to contest in the by-election.
“I need time to organise the party from the base. So no question of allowing this government to fall. Let Yediyurappa complete the term,” said Gowda.
