Bengaluru: Trouble seems far from over for BJP state President BS Yedurrappa, with the state government now considering to approach the Supreme Court to appeal against the Karnataka High Court order regarding quashing of cases against Yedurrappa.
It is gathered that Chief Minister has sought advice of the Lokayukta and legal experts in this regards.
The Karnataka High Court, in October 2016 had acquitted BSY of all graft charges in the Ballari mining case. Yedurappa was forced to resign as the Chief Minister after corruption charges were leveled against him back then.
With the state government now planning to move the Supreme Court we will have to wait and see if this will impact his political career and if the same will have any effect on the upcoming polls.
