Bengaluru: The Koramangala police recently launched an investigation into the allegations of harassment of female customers in the smoking zone of a pub by miscreants.
Police have identified the miscreants using CCTV footage and expressed confidence in tracing them.
According to them, the incident occurred on November 10. “A girl was harassed by miscreants when she was smoking alone in the smoking zone of the pub. When she screamed for help, a few female customers in the washing area rushed to her aid and tried to catch them. The miscreants pushed them to the floor and fled from the scene. A girl sustained head injuries in the incident. After receiving treatment she lodged a complaint with the Koramangala police,” said police sources.
“The Incident was reported from a pub in the Sony signal area in Koramangala. We have recovered the CCTV footage and are confident of nabbing the culprits,” the police added.
